Oxybactocide

The drug Oxybactocide powder is used for the treatment and prevention of rotten diseases of bees in the spring before the main honey harvest or in the summer, after pumping out commercial honey. The use of the medicinal product is prohibited less than 14 days before the start of the main honey collection in order to avoid the ingress of the components of the medicinal product into commercial honey. When working with a medicinal product, the general rules of personal hygiene and safety should be observed, provided for when working with medicinal products for veterinary use. Empty packaging from under the drug is prohibited to be used for household purposes, it is subject to disposal with household waste. In case of accidental contact of the drug with the skin or mucous membranes of the eyes, they must be rinsed with plenty of water. People with hypersensitivity to the components of the drug should avoid direct contact with it. In case of allergic reactions or accidental ingestion of the components of the drug into the human body, you should immediately contact a medical institution (have the instructions for use or label with you). The drug is prohibited to be used by bees during the main honey harvest, there are no age restrictions. Before using the drug, all bee families are examined in a dysfunctional apiary, frames with severely affected brood are removed, sick families are transplanted to clean wax and disinfected hives. The nests of sick families are reduced and insulated, if necessary, a change of queens is carried out. In the spring, the drug is fed to bees with candi or sugar syrup, in the warm season, bees are sprayed with a solution containing the drug directly on the honeycombs, after shaking off the bees, at the rate of 0.5 g of the drug per bee family with a force of 10 streets. To prepare candi with a medicinal preparation, a preparation is added to the honey-sugar dough (candi) at the rate of 10 g per 10 kg of candi and fed to bees 0.5 kg per family of bees. To prepare the syrup with the drug, 10 g of the drug is added to 100 ml of warm water, and then mixed with 20 liters of sugar syrup prepared in a ratio of 1:1 and fed to bees in clean feeders at the rate of 100 ml per 1 frame with bees. To prepare a solution with a drug, 10 g of the drug is dissolved first in a small amount of warm water, and then introduced into 3 liters of warm sugar syrup prepared in a ratio of 1:4 and evenly sprayed with honeycomb frames with affected brood on both sides, after shaking off the bees, at the rate of 10 – 15 ml per 1 frame. Bee treatments are carried out 3-4 times with an interval of 4-5 days, until the disappearance of clinical signs of the disease. All dysfunctional families are treated at the apiary. Simultaneously with the treatment of families, disinfection of hives, honeycombs and working equipment is carried out according to the instructions for disinfection in apiaries. Podmore and beehive garbage are burned.
